Casual Projects

With hooks that could catch a shark, rhymes that would make Dr Seuss’ tongue catch on fire and a rhythm section that has climbed Mount Everest, Casual Projects are very excited at the prospect of hitting the studio for their third full length album – slated for release early 2010.

On the back of their second studio album ‘No Rest’ Casual Projects took their show on the road for 3 successive tours of Australia, as well as showcasing at Canadian Music Week in Toronto and mixing it up with the 1000  bands that attended SXSW in Austin, Texas.

Triple J gave the album some good loving and Rage picked up 2 of the singles video clips for 'Indie Clip of the week'. All 3 videos released have been on regular rotation on RAGE and on Channel V. 'Move Along' recently won ST KILDA FILM FEST 'best indie music video'.

Casual Projects are renowned for their high energy live shows which weave the huge vocals of Texan born Nick Keeling through the animated and characteristic rhymes of several competing MCs.  Not only has this band been on the Kerri-Anne show, they’ve been on it twice!
