What got you into music?
A three stringed nylon guitar I found high up in a cupboard when I was 10.

Describe your sound.
A mixture of Paul Kelly, Paul Simon and Jeff Tweedy style songwriting with J.J Cale Guitars and Nina Simone Vocals. Laid back and easy.

When did you start?
1996.

What can people expect from your live show?
Anything from solo to five piece backing band. Original music played with conviction and integrity.

What or who are your influences, musical or otherwise? 
Pass.

What inspires you?
Space documentaries, fishing, people with self belief, early mornings and late nights, a good buzz and enough tobacco.

What’s the weirdest thing that has happened whilst performing?
Morgan Freeman lassoing my feet from under me whilst I was performing God Save the Queen for a linen convention opening ceremony in Brighton. Nothing weird has ever happened.

What’s your biggest achievement/ proudest moment so far?
Delivering my son in our kitchen one Easter Monday morning. Phew!

What makes you laugh?
Peter Everett (of Ready Steady Cook fame). He just has no self awareness at all. And no sense of proximity. He gets me every time.

What pisses you off?
Bad TV Reception, Inflation, Unfairness, That We Must Die.

What are your plans for the future?
Planning to play interstate more, find new audiences, make a bit more cash and release a giant back log of material.
